Fall Wreath



I am not a big Halloween fan; my oldest son says it is his favorite holiday. I let him do the decorations.

I needed a new fall wreath because the flowers were falling off the last years Fall wreath.  I like parts of the All Free Crocheting Wreath they posted so here is what my wreath looks like:



I used a ribbon to wrap the Styrofoam circle form instead of crocheting it. I liked it a lot better.

There was a better pattern for maple leaves I got from All Free Crocheting which is an application Downloaded on my I-phone.  Hopefully I can type it in here:


Ch 7
Row 1 Sl st in 2nd ch from hook and in next 4 ch, 5 sc in last ch, ch1 turn
Row 2 2 sc in each sc across, ch 1 turn (10 sc)
Row 3 2sc in first2 sc, sc in next 6 sc, 2 sc in last 2, ch1 ,turn (14) 
Rows 4-6 sc in each across, ch1, turn
Row 7 Sctog in next 2 sc, sc across to last 2 sc, sctog in last 2 , ch1, turn (12)

First point
Row 8 Sctog in next 2 sc, sc in next 2 sc, ch 1, turn(3)
Row 9 sc in next 3 sc, ch 1, turn
Row 10 Sctog in next 2 sc, sc in last sc, ch 1, turn (2)
Row 11 Sc in next 2 sc, ch 1, turn
Row 12 Sctog in next 2 sc. fasten off
Center Point
Row 8 Join with sc in next unworked sc on row 7, sc in next 3 sc, ch1, turn  (4 )
Row 9-10 sc in each sc across, ch1, turn (2)
row 11 [Sctog in next 2 sc] twice, ch1, turn (2)
Row 12 sc in each sc across, ch1, turn
Row 13 Sctog in 2 sc, Fasten off
Last point
Row 8  Join with sc in next unworked sc on row 7 ,sc in next sc, Sctog in last 2 sc, ch1, turn (3)
Row 9 sc in each across, ch 1 turn
Row 10 sc in sc, sc2tog in next 2 sc, ch1, turn (2)
Row 11 sc in each sc across,c h1, turn
Row 12 Sc2tog in 2 sc, ch 1,turn

Edging
starting at the right side of stem join with sc and Sc around each and around each point finished to left side of the stem. Fasten off.

Donations to Texas Oncology



Well, I got total of 18 hats done for my Oncologist Office finished. One is what we call “Whimsical” hat which was made out of the small left over Pink ribbon fabric. Picture below:




In addition, two lap quilt blankets. Pictures below:






I finished make 8 out of the Hot Pink Crushed fabric. Some I put on my ioffer site at http://www.sanditipple.ioffer.com.

Just an FYI;   All proceeds from my ioffer site go to pay my oncology bill at Texas Oncology at Medical City Hospital.
